Volunteer Opportunity

Spend the morning with NSNP staff and neighbors helping care for our community gardens.

Volunteer Days may include seasonal garden maintenance, planting, weeding, mulching, cleanup and other projects based on what the gardens need that month. No gardening experience is necessary.

This month’s Volunteer Day takes place alongside a full day of activity in Norris Square. After volunteering, stop by Special Farm Stand at Raíces, where Raíces de Cambio youth will have fresh produce and prepared food available.

NSNP will also be participating in Xiente’s Festival del Jíbaro that day, including two free guided tours of Las Parcelas. Tour space is limited and advance registration will be required.

Come ready to work outdoors. Tools and supplies will be provided.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided for volunteers
