Norris Square Neighborhood Project Announces Next Executive Director

Norris Square Neighborhood Project (NSNP), a cultural and youth-based non-profit organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andria Bibiloni, Esq., as its new Executive Director effective September 1, 2024.

“After a comprehensive search process involving our Board, staff, youth members, and community partners, the NSNP Board of Directors has selected Andria Bibiloni to become our new Executive Director,” says Andrés Celin, NSNP Board Chair, “We could not be more excited for Andria’s leadership.”

Bibiloni brings a wealth of experience and expertise in multiple fields to NSNP. She is a lawyer, visual artist, and educator. Over twenty years ago, she began her teaching and art career, leading her to hold multiple leadership and creative positions in Philadelphia and New York City. As a lawyer, Andria specializes in land policy and property ownership rights for longtime residents in the Kensington area. She developed this specialization during her time as an attorney at Philadelphia Legal Assistance. Currently, Andria is a law clerk on the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

As a member of the Norris Square community and a previous member of the NSNP Board of Directors, Bibiloni has a strong sense of community pride that she wishes to pay forward as Executive Director. She is excited to collaborate with the Board, staff, youth, families, and the larger community to sustain a shared vision for the future of NSNP.

“As a Nuyorican transplant and visual artist-turned-lawyer living in Norris Square, I deeply identify with NSNP’s mission of empowering youth and preserving the culture of the Puerto Rican diaspora through educational enrichment and community land stewardship,” says Bibiloni.

Bibiloni will replace Teresa Elliott, who has served as Executive Director since 2019. During Elliott’s tenure, she played a pivotal role in NSNP’s growth, financial stability, youth programs, achievements, and more. NSNP extends its love and gratitude for her significant contributions. Elliott will continue as Executive Director until Bibiloni’s start date.
